FAQs and the Like

Hey y’all. Sup.

My name is Callie, but you guys can call me Celly, Cel, Cellery, whatever the frak you want.

I’m currently a college student aiming to become a design artist.  This is my personal blog so I particularly write or reblog whatever I want here, including drawings, which you can view my art tags here.

SO you have questions for me, yes??

Q: How long have you been drawing?

A: Since I was 10 or 11.  I can’t really remember. All I remember was I got REALLY into drawing during fifth grade.  I remember when I was 3, my mom made me draw a third-dimensional house with details, and that got off from then.

Q: Why don’t you like anime? :(

A: I don’t hate it either! I just don’t have a great interest for it as much as I used to when I was younger. Doesn’t mean I think of it as a thing of the past though. -w-. I still watch some anime from time to time.

Q: Quit re-blogging Homestuck!

A: Then you should not follow me! Simple as that. :B

Q: Do you like video games?

A: Yes I do! Although I was never really a Nintendo gamer. I was a deprived child. I played a lot of M-rated and point-and-click adventure games back when I was a kid. Most of those were on PC. I hadn’t had my first console until back in 2003. I played Final Fantasy though. All of the games except after 12.  Yup.

Q: What about Pokemon?

A: Sadly, again, I was a deprived child. So if you tell me anything about Pokemon, I’ll probably stare at you smiling hoping you think I know half of what you’re saying. Sorry!! :(

Q: Dragonball Z? :(

A:  No, not even that. Nor Yu-Gi-oh. Nor Zelda. :( Sorry.

Q: You’re a horrible example of the 90’s kids! >:(

A: Hey, that’s not true! At least I know how a casset tape and a pencil work together. :D *patssss*…. *cough*

Q: What’s your favorite games?

A: Oh, lots!! I love Assassin’s Creed, Mass Effect, and plenty of games along the line. I ESPECIALLY love point-and-click adventure games. Puzzles, storyline, and exploration is what gets me wanting to play.

Q: So how did you learn to draw throughout the years?

A: Self-taught, and a LOT of practice. Deviantart.com was a gigantic source to get inspired and tips from a lot of great artists! You just need to know where to look for them. :)  Luckily for you, Deviantart has gotten a lot easier to search for certain tutorials where as I had to look everywhere back in the days. Haha.

Q: Will you be taken commissions?

A: Yes, I can! I’m actually trying my best to get that in order once I get examples down!  You can e-mail me at d.callie@hotmail.com to discuss a commission if you like. Or message/ask me, and I’ll be happy to discuss. :)

Q: I really love this [insert certain artwork] picture! May I print it?

A: As long as you credit me and don’t plan to print it off for profit, I’m perfectly fine by it. :)

Q: You’re pretty cool. Do you follow back?

A: No not every so often. But if you really want me to, just ask something like “Come check out my blog!”, and I will. :D
